Dr. Rose status report

Subject Omega and Alpha are living, military bio experiments. Omega seems to be the only one sane enough to follow commands, but Alpha, it's barely even capable of human speech. What's different about the millions of other experiments we house, is that we didn't make them. I'm not authorized to the knowledge of where we found them, but the sediments found on their samples when we produced them sugjests that they came from one to two hundred feet under the surface. We call them delta parasites, they start as a simple goo, till they connect to any complex life (anything smart enough to create/use tools. We don't know how it knows the difference, it just does). Then they feed on anything and everything inside the body, while simaltainiously mimicing everything it consumes, once it takes over the whole body, it aquires a bottomless stomach, and a pure meat diet. What's amazing, is that it lives on a "you are what you eat" philosophy. If it eats a fish, it can breath underwater (note: we have tested this on both subjects, they do NOT aquire gills, just the ability). If it eats a stronger animal, it's strength adds on to it's (this does show, but only slightly, we fed them bears, gorilas, and whales, they physicaly showed almost imposssble results, but you could only see the difference if you held the before and after pictures side by side) However, they always look like the creature they first "bonded" with, without even the slightest difference in facial structure. Another thing is that it's basically all cytoplasm, a stem-celled (regenerateing) skin, brain, heart, and everything else on the outside. Say if it held an active granade, the subject would explode all over the walls, floor, and celing, then the fragments would then come back together. The only way the subject can die is if they run out of oxygen, which makes them so valuable. Just think, every one of our troops, spys, and foot soilders, infected with this parasite! We would be unstoppable! ... Only problem is if the adults are infected, they become mad. Only children seem to not be affected by the affects, and I don't see anyones parents volenteering their child. One of the scientists "volenteered" her children (who will not be named) to be held in the testing chamber at the age of three, aslo known as subject Omega. He has no memory of his parents, which is perfect for testing. The reason we are testing Omega is to see if the madness happens when the parisite bonds with an adult, or it's something they grow into. We are holding a meeting next week with the united nations to see what they think about this little find...

these "parasites" seem like the ones from Bioshock. am i right? i distinctly remember finding an audio tape that says the little sisters are nearly indestructible.

Ya know, it kind reminds me of that now. But no, those were ADAM slugs, which were placed in little girls, provided by the orphanage, to retrive ADAM from corpses. These make people into near-unstopable beasts. I had no intention to copy that.

while you may have had no intention of that, you may want to change it up a bit. this could make a nice little story.

Well, the difference is that this parasite isn't a slug or worm, it's goo. If I had to compare it to anything, it's like that goo spider man touched that eventually created venom.
Edit: exept this actually bonds with a host and can not be removed.

huh. good idea. i could try (keyword here!) to record some of these for you. just for possible shits and giggles.

Youd do that for me? c:>

ya. whenever i got time. (which is to say, pretty much whenever)

Wow, thanks! I won't push you with a deadline or anything like that though, I don't want to be a dick :D

it might take me a bit though. for me, since i'm obviously still living with my family, i'd have to record it with my camera adn then change it to an mp3 format. not that hard.
i couldnt do it at the cp though, mine's in a central family area. i mean, my dad and sister thought i was weird for talking into a mic while playing team fortress 2 last night.

but aside from that, i'd have to do a few tries, but it would be better if i was given a test run sort of thing. i'd probably have to stick to one or two characters at most.

Thats okay, but if you can do a kid's (roughly 10) voice, then I'd recomend you'd do Omi, but we'd need a girl for Dr. Rose.
