Yes, my idea for the good-side ending is the NCR Ending, but really it just depends on how you view the factions.

but surely you heard that the NCR had some corrupt things going on. they pretty much did little to nothing while New Vegas was about to get it's ass handed to it. [they can find the materials and resources to build a giant statue of a guy shaking hands with a NCR officer (which could have been easily used as recycled ammunition or sold for funding which could be spent towards hiring mercenaries), but they can't bring themselves to put more than TWENTY guards to defend the Hoover Damn? blow me.] yeah sure, there's some good men in there, but the guy whose giving the orders has his freaking thumb up his ass, and isn't doing jack about the fiends, OR the legion, which can be taken down easily enough with their "scarce resources", if they just got it all over with. (when you have grenade rifles, and heavy artillery available against soldiers armed with unarmed/meele weapons and a small number of hunting rifles, protected by patched together armor, not much shit should hit the fan) plus, yes man is just the best character in the game. examples:
"I mean, it seems pretty obvious Benny wouldn't want me to, but hey, not my fault I'm programmed to not say no!"

"Hahah! I know that's not true because you still have a head! ...
Haha! That's not funny, you getting shot in the head."

"I'm going to help you accomplish so much, whether I want to or not!"

"And if you had, you know, a huge killer robot at your command, that would just clutter things up."

"Now, a lesser person might want that kind of overwhelming force on their side, but you know - where's the challenge in that?"

Yes, I heard the negative things about the NCR, for example Benny says that they're "criminals who pass laws to make their crimes legal", thats not an exact quote but you get the point. I cannot remember who said this but, "If you got something the NCR wants, towns like Primm don't stay independent for too long". All endings in Fallout New Vegas have a negative side effect making it so there is no "truly good" ending.

Anyway, I agree with you, their supposedly SCARCE resources are barely an excuse to have heavy artillery and very few soldiers despite how they have managed to mass-produce Ranger Combat Armor and Ranger Patrol Armor for EVERY Ranger in California and elsewhere. Also they are able to SALVAGE Power Armor. I wish the events of Fallout 2 didn't lead to the ultimate destruction of The Enclave. Considering how there were LESS of them than there were NCR Soldiers(I assume this due to how Boone and every other NPC that is affiliated with the NCR talks), they had somewhat better weaponry(Vetibirds, controlled Deathclaws, Super-Mutant agents up until the destruction of Mariposa Base, Frank Horrigan, a super mutant in power armor and one the strongest bastards in the wasteland considering how he punch straight through a guy in power armor and a deathclaw), superior armor, and perhaps better training. It makes me wander just how the hell was it that the NCR was able to survive from the events of Fallout 1 to New Vegas when The Enclave survived for 200 years even though they did not strain there resources, they just sat on their Oil Rig

that's why I just took newvegas for myself. robots fight and auto-repair themselves, bad guys asplode, and no one redeemable gets hurt!
